KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of Secret of The Tiger's Eye (1961, p. 734, J-258) has not exercised her usual restraint in her latest book. On the Greek isle of Rhodes, Gale Tyler and her brother encounter intrigue in the forms of a black shrouded figure, reflecting mirrors, a sneering little woman,-- and a sculpted hand. The reader has the inside track on clues too often, so while suspense exists for Gale, there is none left for the reader. Fattened up with endless details, the plot, in the end, is still thin.
