MIRROR OF TIME

Hort love- in a somewhat loss spineless form -- this tells of young Ben's need for security and integrity and accomplishes a straightforward story of virtue and reward. Ben, ex-GI and restless, finally disgusted with his much married mother's phony ranch and latest husband, leaves California to visit his Grandfather in Connecticut. Old Eben wants him to stay on, but Ben decides on South America until his stepfather arrives with an idea for blackmail and then Ben gets his chance to help his Grandfather in proving the truth of the threats and in averting future scandals. He gets his chance to win his true love too and carry out old Eben's dearest wish. Slick rather than pulp.
