SWORDS AND SAILS

Few stories have been written of the Moros and the overwhelming of the Philippines by the Japanese, and this is good story telling, plus authentic factual background of the ways of life among the Moros. It is a story of a lad who stumbles upon the hiding place of the tiny band of Americans who did guerilla warfare on their own and escaped just in time. Abdul proved his loyalty to the teachings of his American teacher and served as scout for his new found friends. Good adventure, and a plausible story of current interest.
