KIRKUS REVIEW

A well known magazine writer, who has contributed stories from her native Canada, writes of a log cabin through the centuries as it is lived in, abandoned and finally rediscovered to make a museum for a nearby town. Using an actual happening in Quebec as the basis for her story, Mrs. Peterson writes in a gently personalized tone about the cabin, its people and their doings and there is a warm feeling when modern children find it years later.
