PIRATES, PIRATES, PIRATES

Biff, bop, bam, and lots of award play, flapping sails, and buried treasure in this latest in the triple . Again the selections are superior in story and quality of writing. Most of the stories have period settings -- the stories by Howard Pyle, Merritt P. Allen, and Charles Coppock are outstanding spine-tinglers in this category, but there are yarns about British-Yankee sea battles, a modern Augustus story, and a delightful tale about a pirate rat by Jean Muir. Also the figures of the old terrorists, Blackbeard, Captain Kidd, Steve bonnet and Jean Lafitte sail again.
