Tidily handled realistic-romance, of a self-reliant white collar girl who marries proud but penniless Julian Darton, brought up in the horse and hounds tradition. There are many adjustments to make, with Julian's superiority, pride, intolerance, and his over-devotion to his mounts. Both rather unyielding, there's a split when Julian lays down the law unreasonably, and the eventual reunion. Well trimmed, in the better rental manner.
