A PLACE FOR ANN

Excellent vocational value in story of group of young people, jobless and disheartened, who, under the inspiration of one of their number, put on a cooperative service venture and make a place for themselves in the community. There is plenty of incident to carry the underlying purpose of the story, and good characterization throughout. Things don't always break their way, which gives it an authentic note.
