KIRKUS REVIEW

When three little horses make friends with Peter, their lives become suddenly complicated. For from him they learn of the city and filled with a desire to expand their horizons, venture into town disguised as princesses. There are, as one would expect, repercussions and the three little horses with their friend are imprisoned until three real princesses intervene. Piet Worm's entertaining story, written in varied though unforbidding language is surpassed by his illustrations, which embody all the color and humorous pomp of the Punch and Judy stage.
