KIRKUS REVIEW

The little lamb's curls pass through many stages before they are transformed into baby's blanket and the rhymes here capture the essential elements of each stage. It may be argued that a topic covered in the social studies programs of the early grades is hardly suitable for pre-schoolers but Talivaldis Stubis' pictorial conception in full color will surely appeal to the very young just awakening to the origins of familiar objects.
