KIRKUS REVIEW

An English import -- strange the way they seem to have a knack for writing good child and pony stories, which combine a reasonably good plot with excellent factual content about care and schooling. Jingo was the butcher's delivery pony and proud of it; but Wednesday was a half holiday and he enjoyed being the children's mount on that day and proved his loyalty when need came.
