ME TOO by Prit Willis

Pictures -- by the author -- are so charming that we could wish the text were better. Particularly as the ""me-too"" idea is one that most families have to deal with. ere it is done through the story of a little duck who always want to do what the bigger ducks are doing. His adventures and misadventures include learning to swim, investigating a bowl of purple Easter egg dye, and burning himself when he must needs experiment with a lighted match. (Risk here -- that imitative young ones, unable to read the text -- might find the temptation too much.) Attractive format. But for text of this kind, the Evers have an inside track, and deservedly so.
