THE UNCONSCIOUS WITNESS

An artist on the edge of the scene of the crime makes some random sketches which eventually prove some valuable points in piecing together the missing fragments of confused identities and successive violent deaths. Very slow getting under way -- in fact the story is more than half gone before Dr. Thorndike enters the picture, and sees what it's all about.
