WINGS OVER WEST POINT

Football, aviation, military secrets and spy scares, all enter into Don Moore's first two years at the Point. This is on the old familiar pattern -- Don is caught out of bounds and so sacrifices his position on the squad on the eve of the big game, but is later reinstated with fanfare, when it develops that he has been the means of saving a new secret bomber from enemy spies. Pretty unlikely when you come to think about it, but a darned good yarn all the same, authentic as possible under the circumstances, with splendid characterization, very well written.
