This really should go over to the Sporting Book supplement planned for October 15th issue, but here it is, for what it is worth. Highly specialized market, as its humor and significance and under and overtones all depend on intimate acquaintance with the sport in question, whether it be trout fishing, duck or quailing shooting. Somehow, it strikes one completely unsportsmanlike critic as being second hand. No mention, for instance, of dry fly or wet - and so forth.
