SOLVING PERSONAL PROBLEMS

At first this book seems a bit prosy and theoretical. As it gets under way it becomes practical, analytical, constructive, suggestive. The last quarter is definitely addressed to those who are going into ""counseling"" -- whether semi-professionally, or as adjuncts to their own professions (doctors, teachers, clergymen, etc.) Discusses frankly -- but conservatively -- human emotional problems of widely divergent range of interest. The method of handling should prove helful to individuals in their own problems and understanding -- and should provide basic principles for those untutored in methods and trends of psychology.
