BY THE DAWN'S UGLY LIGHT

What the boys in the back room will have if they don't watch out! The gentleman whose illustrations helped to fracture the French language here demonstrates a couple of tough breaks for those bending elbows, from the common, or garden, variety of hangover in its uncomplicated forms to the higher realms of torture, which downgrades you from ""things are so very wee"" to the moments when you can't get away from yourself and the Thing that looks back at you from the mirror....A rake's progress that might well rake in the shekels in the plus-sale, humor department.
