MOATED HOUSES OF ENGLAND

The title alone should sell this book. Add to that a glance at the jacket and a peep at the illustrations. There is something mediaeval and definitely intriguing about a moat, and the stories of these old houses are distinctly nostalgic. History and personalities, gardens and architecture, all spell enchantment. Practical Mr. Hopkins has indicated visiting days. A book to sell in your travel section -- in your garden section as well.
