There is something mediaeval and definitely intriguing about a moat, and the stories of these old houses are distinctly nostalgic. History and personalities, gardens and architecture, all spell enchantment. Practical Mr. Hopkins has indicated visiting days. A book to sell in your travel section -- in your garden section as well.
