A stocking book, charmingly illustrated with line and with jacket and frontispiece in two colors, and sold with matching envelope for mailing. Rachel Field has an unfailing faculty for catching the spirit of children's thought and understanding, and at the same time her verses have a basic quality which appeals to all ages.
