Light but amusing thumbing the nose at the publishing world. Too, too beautiful Pamela finds herself committed, by contract, to writing a book -- and man-ages to get the job done by others, only to discover herself a best seller with future committments and not an idea in her empty little head. Essentially a book for those in the trade -- for booksellers who like to run down publishers, for publishers who like to maintain a holier-than-thou attitude. And, perhaps, for that public that likes to feel in on the know, even though written in satire.
