SOMI BUILDS A CHURCH

In the most northern part of Norway, where they had to travel five days to a forest for each log, a group of Laps, headed by Somi and his son, built a church, at at the cost of great labor and sacrifice. To this far north country the Bishop himself came to preach the first sermon and to see for himself the miracle of faith. The story gives a fine picture of the Laps and of the magnificent northern land, and while it is told well and simply and will doubtless interest some children, it seems to me its appeal will be far greater among adults than with the 9 - 12 group for which it is advertised.
