THE INSECT GUIDE

Another in an excellent series of nature handbooks and field guides, this deals with the orders and families of North American insects. There is no attempt to force upon the average layman too much scientific terminology and data, but the classifications fall into large groups, orders and families, and tell how to identify insects by habits as well as locale and appearance. The illustrations- 330 in color, 124 in black and white, are classified and keyed, and aid in identification.
