KIRKUS REVIEW

In two volumes, the Exotic Cookery Book or around the world with knife, fork and spoon and, the Exotic Drinking Book or around the world with jigger, flask and beaker. These books are all and a bit more than these descriptive titles and subtitles imply. Whatever your taste you'll be able to satisfy it, but whether or not you'll be able to take the consequences will be another story. Potent is mild for some of them! From every famous bar and hidden corner of the globe and from every chef and steward the author has charmed each secret recipe. In fact he's done such a complete job that every gourmet will want to retire to an island to sip and taste from without interruption.
