Another frontier story, with the usual assortment of Indian raids, buffalo stampedes, and adventures of frontier life, though this is rather mild of its kind. The setting is the vicinity of a stagecoach station, and the central character is the son of the man who runs the station and his friend, a Ute Indian lad, virtual slave of a hostile chief.
