KIRKUS REVIEW

The story of a pathetic little man who believed in formulas for living -- and ended by being always the underdog, although his faith gave him a certain dignity, relieved by touches of humor. A simple story, not morbid nor depressing in fact, though it might be in implication. Might have somewhat the market that Mr. Thomson in the Attic had.
