The title indicates the tone and Alan Watts, in his preface, also sponsors these personal accounts of inner voyages achieved through psychedelic drugs. Editor Metzner places the movement which has extended to the International Federation for Internal Freedom; America is now going through a ""trip,"" not a particularly happy one in regard to the movement. A sizable congregation of witnesses include a Quaker psychotherapist, a convict, students, a husband and wife, children, artists and scientists, philosophers and theologians. . . . In spite of editorial endorsement and a serious approach, it may well attract censure, although it does tune the reader in on what it means to be turned on.
