Capt. William C. O'Neill became Arizona's favorite son,- a typesetter in Phoenix, boom camper in Tombstone, court reporter and editor in Prescott, probate judge and sheriff- and finally, a Rough Rider in the Spanish American War, where he died at San Juan Hill. The roaring '80's and one who matched them.
