KIRKUS REVIEW

An attempt to show the discrepancy between 20th century principles and practice, by a lecturer in the Chicago Ethical Society, Written in grab-bag fashion, ideas, anecdotes, cases, precepts to illustrate various topics, democracy, profit system, free love, divorce, and our own modus operandi in ethical matters. Simply done, rather lively in selection of illustrative material. Jingoistic -- hit-home manner, with conclusions based on practicality or feasibility in everyday life. The title may sell it.
