AMERICAN HISTORY FUN BOOK; GEOGRAPHY FUNBOOK

Each of these two books carries an array of games, riddles, puzzles, quizzes and short sketches on famous people, events or places and they have been laid out with bold type, good supplies of cartoons and space for individual pencil work. For instance the geography book has quizzes on the locality of costumes and customs, or on map outlines of countries, or state capitols. The history book- of the United States alone- has sketches on Buffalo Bill and Custer's last stand, and ideas for a Fourth of July party. That's a sampling and the number of the rest of the entries is practically legion. To while away the hours, of convalescence, rainy days, or travelling.
