THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

These seven brief devotional messages are most appropriate for use during the Lenten season. In them Dr. Sockman, well known as the pastor of Christ Methodist Church in New York and as a preacher on the radio and television, has organized his thoughts about the well known words of Paul: ""Therefore take the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and- having done all- to stand."" The several chapters indicate in Dr. Sockman's inimitable way how the Christian may protect himself from the worst that life can offer by taking unto himself truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and hope.
