AIR AGE MAP OF THE WORLD

This sort of thing is time consuming and fascinating to anyone who is interested in maps. It is a polar projection map which helps one understand better such seemingly incredible facts as that Darwin, Australia, is nearer Nome, Alaska, than it is to Los Angeles; that Dakar is nearer St. John, Newfoundland, than Miami, Florida.
