An objective approach to the general picture of labor-management relationships, in another book on the subject, a book which has particular merit in the keen evaluation of strong and weak points of both sides. The author analyzes the struggle, looking behind to thoughts and acts that make good or bad feeling, that produce strikes or maximum production. He discusses such moot questions as piece work vs. straight time, regulations made without consultation, job security, labor-management committees, etc. All handled with a light, humorous, human touch too often lacking in such books.
