Fust, you take some chunks o' raccoon and two jugs of marsh water 'n then some and a yaffle of rabbit food and heaps of this and gobs of that and after following these dee-rections (translated by Cathey Pinckney) you've got Granny's Pot Of Few...as well as a whole lot of other eats like stewed squirrels and simmered woodpecker and possum pizza and hawg and corn and hawg and corn and hawg and corn to be served with puccoon (poke weeds). And while none of it is haute cuisine, these vittels will have a certain notional interest for all those who have tooken to the Beverly Hills beldame on the pitcher (in between the Tums commercial). Iffen we're daid wrong we'll eat crow but danged iffen we'll eat crawdad.
