HUNTING TRAILS

Pub Date: Nov. 6th, 1961

A crowded bag of tales and stories, personal experiences from the past and the present, and other accounts of wild life, is here available for the experienced marksman and hunting enthusiast. Duck, deer, moose, turkeys, quail, fox, 'possum, are among the hunted as are tiger, boar, wild buffalo, and bear; there are hunting dogs and even a hunting mile; there is a squirrel shoot, a mystery and the killing of a grizzly with a long bow. In the company of Walton and Surtees are Hemingway, Corbett, McCracken, Irvin S. Cobb, Ed Zern, Archibald Rutledge, Nash Buckingham, Ray Holland and there are selections by Aimed Jenks, Paul Hyde Bonner, Verne Athanas, Rufus King, Edison Marshall and many others. The editor introduces each inclusion with warmth and there will be line decorations to make this a gift item for sportsmen.
