KIRKUS REVIEW

Whether the sun warmed his fur or the rain came down outside his cage, the Brown bear who performed in the Bumblefus circus was contented. He was the only motorcyclist among the world's bears, and every evening he rode around the ring thirteen times to the amazement of the audience. All went well for the peaceful bear until one day he heard an ornery child call him ""Stupid"", because he rode only in circles. Proving himself to have brains as well as brawn, the bear left Bumblefus on his motorcycle, and created a great fuss in the town as he zoomed through traffic lights and rounded corners. The famous cyclist returned to the circus to continue performing his act, but he no longer rode only in circles. The comical, full color illustrations add exuberance to a book which should be delightfully entertaining to young listeners.
