KIRKUS REVIEW

A lot of fun for fly tiers in the pages of this book. There is information for the amateur, tricks for the old hands, new wrinkles and secrets of the clan -- and a chapter of yarns. Feathers, hackle, fish hooks, favorite flies, etc. Men and women keen on tying their own flies are avid readers of everything on the subject, so keep a list of them, for every book of worth in the field. Trout and salmon fishermen should add to the number of purchasers, and shifting seasons, north and south, makes an open market most of the year.
