How many people are coming into the Church these days with only the fuzziest notion of the Faith, or none? Often the new interest in religion means starting with the fundamentals; this the Reverend Robert Youngs has done. His book is not simple, but it is simply written, with colorful illustrations, and with good use of the Bible. Most Protestant clergy will find this book just the thing to hand to an inquirer, as it avoids the pitfalls of denominationalism. Mr. Youngs has avoided the temptation to give theology only, although he does this well. Rather he develops what the faith means in terms of prayer, moral living, personal commitment and Church membership. The people who need this book most are the very ones who will find it most interesting.
