Nero Wolfe and Archie and the dependable threesome do it again- this time with a murder that couldn't have happened, and evidence that couldn't be proved. For one of four "unmarried mothers" had died in sight of everyone, including Archie- and the evidence pointed to suicide- except for one thing. Archie wins his medals, this time- but he certainly puts the acid test of friendship up to his chief. There's a tie in with a jewel robbery case which makes some of the figures two timers.
