Artificial modern poetry, including all sorts of verse forms, the majority free verse, without a set rhyme scheme, frequently adapting the sonnet form and occasionally some rather highly intellectualized poetry. Setting used as springboard for idea (and there's little variety hero). Emphasis on words for their visual and alliterative effect, sacrificing more fundamental values.
