QUIET STORY

This is an arty little effort saved from its poetic pointlessness by the very easy read-alone vocabulary. ""My friend and I took hands. We started on a walk together...We did not speak...I wonder what my a friend was thinking...Will he ever tell me?"" It wonders in a seeing-with--a-new-eye sort of way about various encounters with nature, about what another person may be thinking or feeling -- but it really fells to go anywhere.
