JULIA HARRINGTON by Richard Bissell

JULIA HARRINGTON

This is a copacetic picture story for grownups with handsome dimensions (8(apple) x 11) and full page, full color and black and white pictures at which you'll be looking as wide-eyed as Julia Harrington. Twelve going on thirteen in 1913 and living in Winnebago, Iowa, where she goes to school, collects cigar bands, belongs to a canning club (63 jars of pickles), hangs wallpaper and writes a prize-winning essay on IOWA'S PRIDE, THE DELICIOUS APPLE. Once again Mr. Bissell's cheerful-nostalgia will act as a Nervine tonic for raddled contemporaries and this should be a nice item for the emporium particularly during the season ahead.
