A CLIENT IS CANCELED

Not a Pam and Jerry North story, but a center spot for Captain Heimrich who builds up strain and stresses for the suspects in the murder of Paul Barlow, a Mr. Big in the tobacco world, whose relatives, friends and business associates have more than a little interest in his death. Told by Orson Otis (Oh Oh) a pulp writer, this shows how Heimrich sharpens the edginess of his wife, Winifred (the Pooh) and others, until a second killing which drives the quarry into the open. Much milling around, upending of dead and conversations and a tight case.
