YES AND BACK AGAIN

This mindless farce is more in the airy tradition of the halcyon days of the twenties than most others of this genre--American lads in Paris and love's persistent demands. A young American architect, William Harris, friend of Francois Clemente, a mime of monumental ego, finds that the old amatory impulses have been stirred considerably by the proximity of a luscious, cool young actress attached to Francois. Soon this lady's capitulation looms large in William's life goals. With gears shifting wildly between Yes and No the lady yields but twice--the last episode inadvertently observed by Francois. However, Francois' all-encompassing and lofty self-view cannot admit being diminished in any way. Therefore William, about to be whisked into the U.S. Navy, is free to indulge in a few days of sadly bootless pursuit. A pop-eyed view of a mainly undraped artists' gala and some explicit sex point to handle with care. In all however, rather fun.
