KIRKUS REVIEW

This parallel volume to The Protestant Year has been prepared by the National Council of Catholic Men of which Archbishop Cushing is the Episcopal chairman. In addition to secular information given in any almanac, the fast days, feast days, holy days of obligation, saints' days, dates of plenary indulgences and important Catholic religious and historical anniversaries are designated. There are daily Bible readings and inspirational quotations. Also included is a list of patron saints for all occupations. Suitable for desk use by a Priest as there is also space for an engagement calendar.
