THE UPSIDE-DOWN KING by Richard J. Margolis

THE UPSIDE-DOWN KING

By

Publisher: Windmill

In unscannable couplets on overstuffed pages, a thoroughly unappealing bit of buffoonery about the indecisive King of the Nambies and his overweight (and therefore unmarriageable) daughter. The solution to their double dilemma arrives in the person of one Zip-Zip ""Who slid in on a slant/ Dancing the can-can and not the can't can't""; he advises the king to stand on his head so that ""your decisions will fly to your brain"" and in payment demands the daughter's hand -- while the Princess ""cooed like a dove/ Zip-Zip convinces, Zip-Zip's my love."" But that's definitely a minority opinion.
