THE SEVEN SPECIAL CATS

How seven cats cause havoc in New York City, stop subways, clog traffic and bring the mayor to take emergency action, when they are evicted from their home which is being replaced by a giant skyscraper, is the basic plot of this lively farce, sure to evoke giggles and even guffaws from young readers. But the cats have really been behaving exactly like cats. They have disappeared; only wild rumors have appeared. With the assistance of Mrs. Thwickle, the cats are recalled and each given a separate room in the new skyscraper.
