KIRKUS REVIEW

The acronym stands for Cannon-Launched Antitank Weapon, a laser-guided, no-miss missile heisted from a US Army base by unknown terrorists. The Third World infiltration Group takes the bows for direct hits on the White House and Langley, Va. headquarters even though it appears to be a Chinese plot to frame the Soviets and detonate detente in a presidential election year. Working hand-in-hand here are the CIA's Ben Dace and a KGB colonel with ""Dragon Lady mystique."" A low-velocity nail-biter from the author of Cobalt 60.
