More of the same in this second series devoted to tracking the dying splutters of the meteor stars and newsmakers of yesteryear. It is rather nice and/or unsettling to know that Axis Sally is teaching the young to sing out as a music teacher in an Ohio convent; that King Michael of Rumania carries on as plain old Michael the stockbroker; that Sonny Tufts made--and spent--$2,000,000. But it is cheering and very nice to know that Smith and Dale are alive and well; that Frances Langford still trills in her smoky fashion; that little Janet Gaynor, an astute businesswoman, may never fear the pinch of poverty. Good fun for idling middle-aged idolators.
