SOMETHING UP A SLEEVE

Bernie Simmons, assistant D.A., prosecuting a man for the murder of his wife whose jewels had disappeared simultaneously, witnesses the mugging-killing of his friend and courtroom adversary, the defense lawyer, and finds a second body which is not quite cold -- that of a private detective.
