KIRKUS REVIEW

See the toothy garbage truck? See the cob-shaped corn car? the pink power shovel? And ""Did you see that? Dingo Dog has knocked down almost all the parking meters."" But where is Goldbug now? Can you find him riding in the caboose? Clearly, whether the porcine Pickle family get to their picnic and safely home is of less interest than Scarry's parade of real and unreal creaturedriven vehicles which climaxes in a casualty-free but very messy double page accident that should be good for a full five minute perusual among those who take the scarry low road.
