Sudell's New Gardening Encyclopedia has nothing on his New Garden for completeness. Starting with that dreamy moment when you gaze npon the wreck of mud left by workmen where your garden ought to be, Mr. Sudell considers the site, the soil, the type house, and makes his plans, hundreds of them for various type gardens, each with long list of suitable flowers and minute instructions for building, planting or whatever is involved. Shrubs, trees, pools and a vegetable garden are all included between the covers of the most captivatingly illustrated and jacketed book you'll put on your shelves this spring. Old gardeners will find plenty of suggestions too, so don't limit the sale.
